16 month fixed term contract
We are looking to recruit an experienced Marking Support Manager to own major processes that underpin the successful completion of marking including series planning, summer delivery and reform. The successful candidate will be able to develop and implement marking strategies and will support and deputise for the Marking Manager when required.
In this role you’ll be:
•building exceptional relationships with our internal and external customers
•guiding the team in consistently delivering the best in class service that meets our customers’ needs
•developing effective working relationships
•planning for and delivering critical activities that support completion of marking
•managing and liaising to ensure series plans are tracked and maintained and risk logs are managed
•translating a vision into achievable goals
•providing clear direction to achieve organisational objectives
•demonstrating AQA’s desired behaviours and leadership habits
•leading by example, guiding the team to consistently demonstrate AQA’s behaviours.
Key experience / expertise sought:
•strong knowledge of how to lead, motivate, challenge and encourage people
•knowledge of systems and reporting tools
•knowledge of budget and resource management
•developing and maintain reporting procedures
•proven track record in implementing and embedding change
•strong customer focus, with expertise in focusing own and team’s work to the best outcome
•experience in leading teams and driving performance
•proven skills in planning and coordinating with a third party supplier
•skilled in driving team to successfully develop, implement and evaluate process change
•attention to detail with strong focus on improving quality
•experienced in developing and delivering improvement plans.
