Planning Manager

Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Planning Manager to lead a team responsible for the creation of timetables and schedules to ensure that exam results are delivered to time and quality.

The key purpose of this role is to deliver operational planning, scheduling, and resourcing whilst also designing future planning processes and driving delivery of continuous improvement activities by working collaboratively with external and internal stakeholders

What's involved:

•building strong and positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
•lead a team of planners and schedulers
•ensuring the delivery of accurate timetables and schedules
•issue management, escalation and resolution
•support delivery teams in the production of team plans

What we're looking for:

•experience of working within a planning role within an operational delivery environment
•strong people management/influencing skills
•ability to communicate clearly and effectively
•proficient in using Microsoft Office packages
•good analytical skills to ensure delivery to deadlines
•strong knowledge of Excel and other planning tools
