Payroll Administrator- Fixed Term Contract

We employ over 1,000 people as well as the 28,500 associates (people who mark, moderate and work with us to deliver our qualifications) and have offices in Guildford, Manchester, Harrogate, London and Bath.

We’re seeking a customer-focused Administrator to provide highly accurate administration support to the Payroll Team Leader for the monthly and weekly payroll preparation, including employee hours, expenses and overtime. You’ll need to be able to work to strict deadlines to achieve the departmental SLAs and overall team objectives.

To be considered for the role you will ideally have:

•previous payroll administration experience within a busy, service driven environment
•experience of using Microsoft excel to an intermediate level, in a work environment
•a high level of accuracy and attention to detail across both manual and systems based work
•a natural ability to coordinate, prioritise and multitask with little supervision
•a customer focused approach, with the ability to handle customer queries by telephone and email
•a collaborative approach to work
•great communication skills
•the ability to adapt to a highly changeable environment.
