Marking Team Leader

Job summary
We’re looking for an experienced people manager to join our Marking team, leading a team of permanent and temporary employees to plan and deliver our marking process. As Marking Team Leader you’ll recruit, monitor and manage a team, ensuring that the marking process is completed to strict deadlines. You’ll work to support the entire annual cycle: from planning peak activity to recruiting and managing a large team of temporary employees in the summer.

We’re looking for someone with:

•experience of managing the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment and performance management
•the ability to see the ‘big picture’ and translate this into team deliverables
•exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail to be “right first time” every time
•strong relationship development and management skills
•experience monitoring KPIs/SLAs to ensure delivery of team goals
•a flexible working style and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
